Beautiful lithographed pillow topper featuring an illustration of a female baseball player in uniform wielding a ring-style bat set inside a baseball diamond. Arranged around her image are tongue-in-cheek "cards" featuring humorous illustrations of various baseball phrases. Colorful and bright with outstanding detail framed to a finished size of 25" x 25". While we have encountered pieces with a similar design and a bowling theme, this is just the second example with a baseball theme that we have seen. Handsomely displayed, the wood frame is scratched in places, none of which detracts from the bold coloring and strong eye appeal of the piece.
