Beautiful, bright colors distract from the primitive illustration on this example. Harry Lord's white Boston uniform is accented with red letters and piping, but the solid blue background creates the real eye appeal here. Rounded corners are present, but so are sharp edges. Centering is slightly south and east on the canvas, with a minor surface abrasion near the top left corner explaining the card's technical grade. The ink on the Piedmont back is nearly unblemished, with some tobacco staining creating some more interest and adding character. While it is in different ways, both sides have plenty of eye appeal.
