Classic children's book, illustrated with gorgeous, colorful baseball scenes.  Published in 1885 by the McLoughlin Brothers, this chromolithographic book is one of the most highly sought-after of all baseball-related books due to the quality of the images and the brilliant color printing.  The 8 1/4" x 10 1/2" book is scarce and highly desirable in any grade.  Though missing its back cover, the remaining pages are all present, though all the pages are no longer bound together.  In POOR condition, the edges exhibit considerable wear, with multiple edge tears and writing on the cover.  Despite all the condition flaws, this is a beautiful piece, one of the most prized of all baseball children's books from the 19th Century.
