Well worn example of "Harry Wright's Official Score Card," an official scorecard featuring a colorful lithograph and a game between the Chicago White Stockings and the Philadelphia Nationals. Though the method of scoring is unorthodox and difficult to discern, it is likely that the game in question took place on September 8 in Philadelphia, a 15-10 Chicago win. The Chicago lineup includes Hall of Famers King Kelly, Cap Anson and John Clarkson (playing right field), with a number of other very familiar 19th Century names. In FAIR condition, the scorecard does exhibit heavy wear at the spine, making it very delicate with about half of it separated (too much handling and it will undoubtedly come apart). Some toning is evident, along with tears at the corners and edges. Still, an important historical document, including three 19th Century Hall of Famers.
