Buffalo native Billy Millgan pitched in 11 major leage games split between the 1901 Athletics and the 1904 Giants. Despite the brief major league career he played for two Hall of Fame managers in Connie Mack and John McGraw and contributed to a World Series team with the 1904 Giants. His minor league career spanned 12 more seasons split between pitching (he went 19-16 for the 1905 Buffalo Bisons of the Eastern League) and outfield. This card graded VG-EX 4 by PSA exhibits strong features particularly corners. As is the case with most American Beauty cards this one is noticeably thinner than a typical T206 factory trimmed for reasons still unknown to collectors. Still a gorgeous mid grade card with a more difficult back. Population Data PSA Population: 4 total graded 2 at this level 1 higher* SGC Population: 5 total graded 0 at this level 2 higher *Please note that PSA just recently began to differentiate between T206 back variations in their population reports so it is entirely possible that other examples of this card may have been graded by PSA and classified in their pop reports as "unknown back."
