Pair of original New York Yankees 1940's team sit-down photos captured at Yankee Stadium. Central images of both 8" x 10" examples remain in excellent condition with light wear to the corners and some chipping constrained within the white borders. Includes: 1) 1943 World Champion New York Yankees with Hall of Fame catcher Bill Dickey. Includes an overlay at bottom of the image declaring the Yankees World Champions for 1943. Large credit stamping from Cosmo Sileo appears at center on verso. 2) 1948 New York Yankees with Hall of Famers Yogi Berra, Joe DiMaggio and Phil Rizzuto. Verso displays credit stamping attributed to Bob Olen's photo service along with an additional stamp stating "Official Photo N.Y. Yankees." Two photos total.
