Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, often referred to as Fulton County Stadium and originally named Atlanta Stadium, was a multi-purpose stadium and the home of the Atlanta Braves from 1966 to 1996. When it was built in the mid-’60s, the cost was $18 million. This large format Budweiser Beer advertisement salutes the start of the ‘66 MLB campaign which was the Braves first season in the new ballpark. It’s an aerial illustration of the newly erected stadium surrounded by the greater metropolitan area of Atlanta and some neighboring communities. The reverse side shows a seating chart of the stadium along with the Braves complete home schedule for the ‘66 season. The bright, colorful ad measures 14" x 11".
