Extraordinary portrait image of "$10,000 Kelly" from the "Script Series" of Old Judges produced in 1886/87. Freshly-graded by PSA, this is the highest-grade example of this pose in their population report, though there remains at least one Kelly card graded EX 5 tat could be of this same pose (the pose is not identified, as PSA has not always been this detailed in their pop reports). Regardless, the card is sharp and clean, with a stellar image boasting clear detail and better than average image quality for the issue. Kelly was sold to Boston for $10,000 in February of 1887, though he is still pictured in his Chicago uniform in this image. A particularly high-grade example of one of the most popular and desirable of all Old Judge cards.
