Lot Description  

Clean and presentable pair of Hall of Famers from the popular 1948-49 Leaf baseball issue. Includes the rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Warren Spahn graded VG 40 by SGC due to overall wear including a diagonal spider crease that runs across the card (more pronounced on the reverse) as well as the card of Yankee shortstop Phil Rizzuto graded VG/EX 50 by SGC due primarily to corner wear and centering. Two attractive examples from one of the hobby's most popular sets.
