Extremely clean cabinet photo of Cal Broughton of the St. Paul Apostles, dated 1889 and corresponding with card #42-3 in the N172 Old Judge Cigarettes issue. Broughton is posed as if catching a ball, fielding gloves on both hands. The photo is in outstanding shape, some minor areas of foxing and light soiling around the mount, and some very light foxing on the reverse.
