American Beauty 460 series cards are the hardest series with this particular brand showing and are infrequent visitors to our auctions. The cards from this series are known to be cut tight vertically, for reasons unknown to this day.  Bill Bergen perhaps the lightest-hitting catcher ever to play in the bigs, with an anemic .170 lifetime batting average, is the subject.  No matter, he's showing off the defensive skills that earned him his paycheck, on a colorful card, with some corner rounding and a little soling present in the upper right. Centering is a hair to the right but with so little real estate to work with, it's not surprising.  The reverse has toned a bit but the brand logo and text are all there in their light green coloring.
