Two Hall-of-Fame pitchers, one famous pose, an interesting misspelling and some old time handling are the story of this lot. Eddie Plank, in the same pose seen on his infamous T206 short print, is in an SGC 1 holder, with creases running in various directions and corners that have rounded. There is some dirt on the obverse as well, which is nicely centered with good color. Christy Mathewson, who was famous enough that you would think spelling his last name would be a simple matter, is holdered as SGC Authentic, with a large chunk of the lower right portion gone, with some paper lost in spots and other maladies that can easily be seen. Plank's reverse is intact, Matty's been taped and has some loss of paper.
