1961 Brought American League expansion to major league baseball and Topps used 587 colorful cards to memorialize it Willie Mays gets a PSA 5 grade and features a strong portrait, with some light print dust and bottom edge chipping seen.  Roger Maris, about to embark on his record-setting season, appears on a  PSA 4, with a bottom left corner hit. Sandy Koufax strikes a pose that pleased many a Topps photographer over the years, with a stray reddish print mark in the sky next to his head and some gum residue present on a PSA 4. Stan Musial brings the whole lot home in PSA 4, with an upper left corner and bottom edge chipping informing the grade.  All four reverses are evenly matched in appearance, with the Mays having slightly better centering than the rest.
