While it's unclear if the team depicted in the maple-flamed and cherry-stained frame had a sponsorship from the book publisher Charles A. Scribner, it's certainly possible. Taken in the style of the day, a nice array of vintage baseball gear is presented in the foreground, with the photo well-lit and artfully composed. A small amount of scuff marks can be seen on the inner matte but the preservation behind glass has limited any further problems and the image and entire piece look sharp. The framed photo is lovely, matted and framed to a finished size of 15 1/2" x 17 1/2", the photo itself measuring 7 3/4" x 9 1/2". The second piece is a cabinet photo of three of the women from the team in semi-formal outerwear, with the young lady on the left almost looking like an umpire. The mount is scuffed and has a corner crack with the photo in fabulous shape still.
