Pair of 8" x 10" original photographs featuring images of St. Louis Cardinals players used for baseball cards in the 1950's. Includes: 1) George Munger - image used for both his 1950 and 1951 Bowman cards. Image hails from the lens of St. Louis-based photographer George Dorrill. 2) Eddie Stanky - image used for his regionally issued 1954 Hunter Wieners card, captured by an unknown photographer though likely attributed George Dorrill. Both photos remain in excellent condition with superb image quality and typical light wear to corners. Several handwritten notations appear on verso of these photos and Munger includes a faint George Dorrill credit stamp. Both examples are guaranteed to return as Type 1 if submitted to PSA for authentication.
