Lot Description  

Fascinating 1935 original Type 1 news service photo of Shoeless Joe Jackson many years after his playing days came to an end. Small red crop marks appear around the edges of this 6" x 8" photo that otherwise presents beautifully. Verso contains an interesting large paper caption from the Associated Press that includes mention of Jackson's comments on the possibility of being reinstated. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
