A unique, circular design is the hallmark of the Colgan's Chips issues, which were released from 1909 to 1912 and featured a wide selection of the players of the day. The example seen here is from the E270 set, known as "Tin-Tops" for the phrase seen on the reverse. This SGC 5 is the only example in their database (PSA has none) and we cannot see reference to a Toronto variant of Bemis in the old Standard Catalog nor Lew Lipset's Encyclopedia. This is not unusual as new variants crop up occasionally. Bemis was with Toronto for part of 1912 and all of 1913 and the example seen here looks nice, with some foxing on the reverse.
