During the 1950s, the New York Yankees won seven A.L. pennants and claimed six World Series titles. It was in 1951, in fact, when Joe DiMaggio decided to retire following another season in which the Yankees won it all and a rookie phenom named Mickey Mantle made his MLB debut. This lot features six New York Yankees Championship Season World Series Programs: 1950 (vs. Phillies), ‘51 (Giants), ‘52 (Dodgers), ‘53 (Dodgers), ‘56 (Dodgers) and ‘58 (Braves). Each of the programs remains intact with all six covers in remarkably good shape. Only the 1953 cover shows serious toning around the edges. The inside pages are filled with player profiles, player photos and scorecards. Six programs total.
