The 1914 E145 Cracker Jack set brought a jolt of red to the little prizes it had started inserting into boxes of their sticky confection two years earlier. More like thick paper than thin cardboard, the cards were susceptible to product staining and damage. Harry Gessler of the Federal League's Pittsburgh Rebels is seen batting on this SGC 1 holdered card. Several creases are seen, with fairly heavy staining along the bottom of the front and a little more on the reverse.
