A long time hurler for Cleveland and both color of Sox, Joe Dobson was an excellent pitcher who remains a bit obscure today. A big part of Boston's rotation in the years after World War 2, he remains ninth on the all time wins list for the Red Sox. With corners that have some rounding and some surface scuffing present, the color remans consistent on this 1952 Topps semi-high number card. A black Sharpie signature, nicely done, has PSA/DNA confirming it is indeed AUTHENTIC.
