Tom Poholsky once pitched a 22 inning complete game in the International League without allowing an earned run, earning a well-deserved win for the Rochester Red Wings. This Herculean feat drew the attention of the Cardinals, who called him up shortly after (hopefully with some rest in between). After the 1951 season he was drafted and didn't return until 1954 so he's a kind of ghost in the 1952 Topps set. His card is colorful and ungraded here, with some light handling evident. The signature is a GEM MINT 10, written in blue ballpoint and running up the left side.
