Denny Wilie was the name and getting on base was his game. Wilie jumped from Class D ball in his first pro season all the way to the St. Louis Cardinals, where he became the first player from Baylor University to make it to the big leagues in 1911. He was sent down in 1913 and after a 45 game stint with Cleveland in 1915 was solely a PCL player thereafter. This SGC 2 example has seemingly been dinged for product remnants on the front and reverse but has that wonderful coupon present. The only example in the SGC database, with a sole hand cut example seen at PSA, this is one wily Wilie.
