Attractive PSA 6 of Hall-of-Fame shortstop Luke Appling, issued during his last full season in the majors, where he spent 20 years with the White Sox and, through no fault of his own, never sniffed the postseason. A pleasing orange background can be seen and his "gravy boat" cap, a hallmark of the issue, is rendered in a nice, dark blue.  Centering is a little to the left and the reverse, with its baseball bank offer, is simply superb.
