I have one to sell!
The 1968 Topps Game issue was one of the more plentiful of the company's insert issues from the 1960s. Inserted into packs of 1968 baseball or available for purchase as a complete boxed set the cards were modeled after the Red and Blue-backed Topps cards of 1951. Of course these cards have been even more plentiful than the 1951s thus providing collectors with the ability to obtain high-profile players like Mickey Mantle at lower prices than their conventional cards. Of course the graded card hobby has changed a good deal of that with the highest end cards selling for considerably high prices. Presented is an example of Mickey Mantle's card from the issue graded MINT 9 by PSA. Despite the plentiful nature of the card coupled with its rounded corners MINT examples are few and far between with just 4 examples having graded a 10 (of nearly 1 300 individual examples graded) and only 29 attaining the MINT 9 level. MINT examples of Mickey Mantle cards are not frequently seen - even examples from this set as plentiful as it is. An outstanding card.
