Superb 6.5" x 8.5" original Charles Conlon photo of Yankees Hall of Fame manager and former infielder Miller Huggins in 1927. As Conlon often did, he has utilized the top edge of the Yankees dugout as a framing device, capturing Huggins mid-smirk during the team's most storied season. Verso remains clean and includes Charles Conlon's handwritten identification of Huggins along with Conlon's personal stamping identifying Conlon as the "Photographer for Spalding's Guide and Baseball Magazine." A date stamp of July 16, 1927 appears towards the lower-right corner. Photo is fresh to the hobby and originates from the archives of Photo File, Inc. where it has been stored for several decades until this offering. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
