The Topps baseball issues of the mid-1970s were a demonstration in quality control futility, with print flaws galore - print smudges, roller lines, and fisheyes abound, and centering was virtually ignored, particularly in 1974 and 1975, when it was common to open entire packs of miscut cards.  As a result, well-centered 1974 and 1975 sets are extremely desirable among collectors today.

Presented here is a sharp complete set that is most definitely not something we would describe as well-centered.  On the whole, the cards themselves are quite attractive, bright and clean, but centering could best be described as an afterthought.  Likely assembled from vending boxes by an extremely advanced collector filling in his 1970s sets some time ago, a breakdown of the technical grade of this collection would be 2% EX/MT, 25% EX, 37% VG/EX, 31% VG and 5% GOOD, with centering being the primary factor in the reduced technical grades.

A breakdown of the key cards is as follows:  #1 Aaron (VG/EX), #7 Hunter (G), #10 Bench (VG/EX), #20 Ryan (VG/EX), #40 Palmer (EX), #50 Carew (EX), #55 F. Robinson (VG/EX), #60 Brock (EX), #80 Seaver (VG), #95 Carlton (VG/EX), #100 Stargell (EX), #105 Fisk (VG/EX), #130 Jackson (VG), #160 B. Robinson (EX), #215 Kaline (VG/EX), #250 McCovey (EX), #283 Schmidt (EX), #300 Rose (EX), #330 Marichal (VG/EX), #340 Munson (VG), #350 Gibson (EX), and #456 Winfield (VG).  660 cards total.
