Described as "high grade" in our printed catalog, this collection of 776 cards from the 1972 Topps set does boast the appearance of higher-grade cards, with bright imagery, crisp borders, and in most cases, minor corner wear. This is not, however, the best set for a centering fanatic, as many of the cards are off-center. We take care to factor centering into the cards when we provide assessments of condition, so our breakdown of this collection would be approximately 7% EX/MT, 23% EX, 54% VG/EX, 14% VG and 2% GOOD. The primary condition flaw relates to centering.
The collection is missing the following key cards: #49, 50, 79, 299, 300, 309, 559, 560, 595, 695 and 696. A breakdown of the remaining keys would be as follows: #37 Yastrzemski (VG/EX), #80 Perez (VG/EX), #100 F. Robinson (VG/EX), #130 Gibson (VG/EX), #200 Brock (VG/EX), #241 Fingers (VG), #270 Palmer (EX/MT), #280 McCovey (EX), #433 Bench (VG/EX), #435 Jackson (VG/EX), #441 Munson (VG), #445 Seaver (VG/EX), #447 Stargell (VG), #600 Kaline (G), #751 Carlton Traded (VG), #752 Morgan Traded (VG), #754 Robinson Traded (VG/EX). 776 cards total.
