The 1967 Topps Punch-Outs set is one of the most scarce Topps test issues having been distributed in just a few regions in Maryland. Originally consisting of two perforated strips of three game cards per strip the cards were printed in black white and red with instructions on the back for how to play a baseball game using the small punch-out squares on each card. Each card features a "team captain" along with a lineup of nine players and each "team captain" is known to exist with at least two variations in lineup. Due to these various lineups there are a large number of variations to collect in this set making this one of the more highly sought-after test issues in Topps" illustrious history. We are fortunate to have a nice grouping of 1967 Punch-Outs to offer in this auction. This one featuring team captain Denny McLain (along with Hall of Famers Harmon Killebrew and Carl Yastrzemski) is accurately graded POOR by PSA due largely to various peels of the punch-outs along with creasing across the card face. The graded population of the card remains scarce however with just four graded copies available across both grading companies. Despite the POOR grade this is the highest-graded PSA copy available.Population DataPSA Population: 2 total graded 1 at this level none higherSGC Population: 2 total graded both higher
