Distributed solely in limited areas of Maryland in 1967 Topps Punch-Outs are among the more scarce Topps test issues of the 1960s. Originally consisting of two perforated strips of three game cards per strip the cards were printed in black white and red with instructions on the reverse for how to play a baseball game using the small punch-out squares on each card. Each card features a "team captain" along with a lineup of nine players with each "team captain" known to exist with at least two variations in lineup. Due to the different lineups there are a large number of variations to collect in this set making it one of the more highly desirable Topps test issues.This example part of a nice grouping of 1967 Punch-Outs that we are offering in this auction features "team captain" and Hall of Famer Juan Marichal (joined by fellow Hall of Famers Willie McCovey and Willie Stargell). The card graded AUTHENTIC by PSA due to a "hanging chad " presents well with some chad-related wrinkling.
