Brooklyn outfielders Sandy Amoros and Duke Snider pose for cameras following Game 5 of the 1955 World Series at Ebbets Field. Amaros launched a home run in the second inning while Snider homered in both the third and fifth innings with all three long balls surrendered by Yankees starter Bob Grim. Even though the Yankees would prove victorious the following day at Yankee Stadium, forcing a decisive seventh game, Brooklyn starter Johnny Podres produced a complete game shutout in Game 7, securing the Dodgers very first World Series title. Overall condition of the 7" x 9" photo remains exemplary with no obtrusive blemishes to surface and light toning along the bottom edge of verso. A full paper caption is affixed to verso with blue International news service photo stamping underneath. Authenticated and Encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
