Birdie Tebbetts, a rare major leaguer who hailed from Vermont, began a long professional baseball career in 1934 and would play his last game with the Cubs in 1952. He went on to manage, scout and work in executive functions until 1992, an envious 58 year career. With a little corner wear and the lightest indication of scuffing, this 1952 Topps semi-high is a sweet looking card. As seen here, there's a wonderful signature in black Sharpie, PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC in nature.
