Eddie Pellagrini broke in with the AL pennant winning Red Sox in 1946, played through their fairly good 1947 season and then found himself traded to the Browns. He ended up in Cincinnati for the 1952 season, where Topps plopped him into the high numbers. The card exhibits a crease running in the upper right corner and typical centering for the set. The signature though, is gorgeously rendered and has garnered a grade of MINT 9 from PSA/DNA. Large and flowing in blue Sharpie, it's simply superb, one of but eight examples included in the PSA/DNA population report.
