From the youngest player to ever appearing a major league game (an insane 15 years old in 1944) to iconic announcer for the Reds, Joe Nuxhall fashioned a fine career as a player and broadcaster. After his ill-fated debut, he bounced through the Reds farm system for years before resurfacing in 1952 as player and subject in the 1952 Topps High Numbers-this is actually his rookie card! The blue ballpoint autograph sits within and atop the card's signature box and is a nice PSA/DNA NM-MT 8. The card itself grades out as a PSA 4, with an eye-popping yellow background. Despite Nuxhall's longevity in the game, one of just nine examples assessed by PSA/DNA.
