Originating from the Baseball Magazine archive, first released to the collecting public in 1996, Tigers Hall of Famer Sam Crawford is featured in this original press photo from Paul Thompson's service. Crawford is pictured warming up at Hilltop Park in Manhattan, home of the American League's New York Highlanders, sometime between 1910-12. Notably, Crawford led the AL with 19 round-trippers and 120 RBI's in 1910 at the age of 30. Faint editorial crop lines with pencil markings appear on the surface of this photo which is otherwise smooth. Verso displays just a touch of mild toning with Sam Crawford identified via a pencil notation just below a Baseball Magazine hologram sticker. Measures 5" x 7".
