Gorgeous powder blue Montreal Expos uniform worn by manager Bill Virdon, in his 14th season as a major league manager but his first in Montreal. Virdon managed the team to an 82-80 record, finishing third in the NL East, Hall of Famers Gary Carter, Tim Raines and Andre Dawson all part of his starting lineup. The '83 Expos, despite their record, were a pretty outstanding team, packed with stars.
The Rawlings button-down fitted size 44 jersey is in outstanding condition, properly tagged with Virdon's name and uniform number sewn on. Virdon's name is tagged inside the jersey as well. The condition is outstanding, enough to garner a grade of A10 from MEARS. Montreal Expos jerseys are very popular among collectors, this is a fantastic example.
