Outstanding grouping of T206-related tobacco display packs, each brand associated with that iconic set. Collection includes: 1) American Beauty: full (but opened) slide-and-shell box. March 2, 1901 tax stamp partially in place, strong, VG/EX appearance with tobacco flakes leaking out of the product. 2) Cycle Cigarettes: Outer shell only, adhesive has long come loose at the flap so the package lies completely flat. Light moisture staining at the lower-left corner, strong appearance otherwise. No tax stamp; shell may have never been used. 3) Drum Granulated Tobacco: empty tobacco pouch, well-worn with significant tearing at the label. It should be noted that although they are desirable, cards were not distributed in Drum tobacco pouches. 4) El Principe De Gales: 10-count clamshell box, VG/EX condition, tax stamp unfortunately removed. Light wear to corners and edges, hinge intact. 5)Piedmont: Slide and shell empty box, intact but well-worn, GOOD condition. Marcy 2, 1901 tax stamp partially torn away. 6) Sweet Caporal (2): Pair of slide-and shell boxes, one still full. Empty box presents well but is in technical POR condition due to the word "Toronto" being written on one panel. Tax stamp removed. Full box contains a 1909 tax stamp, has been opened but cigarettes remain inside their foil inner pack. 7) Sovereign: Empty slide-and-shell display box, August 5, 1909 tax stamp. Some creasing and wear to the corners and edges, tax stamp partially torn away, FAIR condition. An interesting display collection of tobacco packs, some still containing product, all related to the popular T206 issue. Eight packages total.
