One of the most popular poses among all the T206 cards, this is a tremendous midgrade example of Christy Mathewson's "Dark Cap" pose.  Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC, the card does exhibit some very light staining, most noticeable at the upper-right border, but also visible along the top edge.  Likely related to the loose tobacco product in the Polar Bear packages, some staining is also visible on the reverse.  Corner wear is, perhaps, a bit more than one might expect at the VG/EX level.  Despite this, a very appealing card.
