A member of the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame, Alejandro Oms was an outstanding centerfielder who led the Cuban League in batting average three times, and won the league's MVP in 1928-29. He ranks second in Cuban League history for all-time career batting average at .345. He also played seven seasons in the American Negro Leagues, batting .329 with an OPS+ of 144. He is one of the most sought-after non-Hall of Famers among Cuban collectors.
