A member of the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame, Alejandro Oms was an outstanding centerfielder who led the Cuban League in batting average three times, and won the league's MVP in 1928-29.  He ranks second in Cuban League history for all-time career batting average at .345.  He also played seven seasons in the American Negro Leagues, batting .329 with an OPS+ of 144.  He is one of the most sought-after non-Hall of Famers among Cuban collectors.

This well-centered example from the difficult 1923-24 Nacionales issue has been graded AUTHENTIC by SGC, likely due to their perception of a trim based on how the cuts look on the reverse.  The reverse does exhibit some staining, as the card was clearly removed from the album which was produced for mounting the cards.  One of 60 known baseball players that were part of a much larger set that included boxers, actors, and others.
