Remarkable official Brooklyn Dodgers Ebbets Field program and scorecard from an undated game between the Dodgers and Chicago Cubs. The two teams faced each other for the first time at Ebbets field on April 29, the 10th game of the season. The printed roster, however, includes Al Gionfriddo, who was acquired in a trade with Pittsburgh on May 3. Consequently, the program is likely from either the teams' July 10-12 meeting or the August 27-28 series. Regardless, the program presents extremely well, in apparent EX condition with light but even toning and some mild wear to the corners and edges, along with some slight wear at the spine. An important document of the club's historic 1947 season, perhaps the most significant season in baseball history, the debut season of Jackie Robinson.
