Interesting pairing of baseball-themed household items from the 1920s and 1930s. The first piece is a seldom-seen baseball inkwell. The baseball features multi-colored stitching, and sits on a stack of stylized books. Lifting the top half of the ball reveals two removable inkwell components, likely one intended for black and one for blue ink. Remarkably, the piece is unused and remains in NM condition. The second piece is a two-piece candy dish, constructed of "milk glass" the top and bottom of which form a baseball. Also in NM condition. Two tremendous baseball-themed pieces.
