Superb 8" x 10" Charles Conlon photo of Yankees Hall of Fame manager and former infielder Miller Huggins posed outside his dugout c.1927. Photo is crystal clear with a few areas of chipping present around the white border which is heaviest in the upper-left and lower-right corners. A dark ink stain partially obscures Huggins' right hand. Verso is quite clean and includes Charles Conlon's handwritten identification of Huggins along with Conlon's personal stamping. A date stamp of July 26, 1927 appears at the top. Photo is fresh to the hobby and originates from the archives of Photo File, Inc. where it has been stored for several decades until this offering. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
