The 1922 World Series culminated in the second straight defeat of the New York Yankees by the Giants in the Fall Classic, though the Yankees would have their revenge in 1923. As a group these photos present beautifully and are clean and bright on both sides. Verso of all examples include handwritten identifications of each player along with large Paul Thompson stamping. Note that George Kelly's photo is missing a piece from the bottom border.
