Beautifully-preserved June 10 1966 edition of Time magazine featuring Giants Hall of Famer Juan Marichal in a step-by-step illustration of his high leg kick and delivery. Seven years into his great career Marichal was on his way to his fourth consecutive 20-win season (he would ultimately win 20 games six times). He would finish the season with a 25-6 record and a 2.23 earned run average giving up a remarkable 228 hits in 307 innings pitched and fewer than .86 walks plus hits per inning. The publication is in remarkable condition with very little chipping along the famous red Time Magazine borders. Wear is however apparent upon close inspection primarily in the form of mild creasing particularly along the spine and edges. The display characteristics of the piece are however excellent.
