Pair of attractive and interesting sports-related stock certificates including: 1) The Baseball Magazine Company: One certificate good for two shares of stock in The Baseball Magazine Company (publisher of Baseball magazine) as issued on 10/18/1910 to one Frank Magwire. Signed by company executives Roscoe and Joseph Potts. In apparent EX condition with folds consistent with being mailed and a slight corner clip at the upper right. 2) Broadway Joe's: One certificate good for 100 shares of common stock in Broadway Joe's Inc. owner of Broadway Joe's restaurant. The shares issued in March of 1970 to Lewis and George Albert were purchased for ten cents each. The company was dissolved in 1972. In apparent EX-MT condition the certificate has two staples on the left edge tiny hole punches on the right edge indicating the cancellation of the shares and some light ink marking on the reverse. Two highly display-worthy stock certificates from the business side of sports.
