Spectacular 1912 Pittsburgh Pirates team postcard taken during Spring Training in Hot Springs Arkansas at the beginning of the 1912 season. A total of 39 subjects appear in the photo including Hall of Famer Barney Dreyfuss (of whome few photos from this period exist) Honus Wagner (center row fourth from right) and Fred Clarke (suited to Dreyfuss' right) and Max Carey (center row second from left). The grade of GOOD 2 assigned by SGC does not effectively address the strong quality of the image the grade speaking more to such details as corner wear reverse toning and erased pencil markings on the back. While certainly exhibiting wear the image quality is quite strong a difficult postally-unused postcard featuring several important Hall of Famers.
