Unique 12" x 14" framed display piece containing large negative with 42 images of Walter Johnson running horizontally - six rows of seven images each. These images were undoubtedly used at some stage of the production process for creating his exceedingly rare 1920s pinback, an example of which is shown with this listing (though not included in the lot). Professionally assembled with an attractive beautiful brown wood frame, the negative itself appears to have been sandwiched between plexiglass which is doing a splendid job of protecting the delicate images. Two metal rings are present at very top which would allow for the piece to be hung. A small white sticker with handwritten notations is barely peeking out from behind the frame in the top right corner. Negative pane itself appears to be in superb condition with only one or two small spots of soiling and some brown discoloration to the first five images in the top row.
