Attractive red, white and blue ticket stub to the opening game of the 1942 World Series, pitting the New York Yankees against the St. Louis Cardinals.  The only game in the five-game series to be won by the Yankees, a 7-4 victory that saw Red Ruffing no-hit St. Louis until two were out in the eighth inning.  The Cardinals' four-run ninth was too little, too late in this particular game.  The stub appears in GOOD condition, with a vertical crease and visible softness at the edges.
