Visually-pleasing ticket stub from Ebbets Field for the 1949 All-Star Game, held July 12. The National League committed five errors in the game, including one each by hometown favorites Roy Campanella and Pee Wee Reese. The American League ron the game, 11-7. This was the first time that Black players were selected for an All-Star game, with Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella and Don Newcombe joining the National League and Larry Doby joining the American. A historically important ticket stub, the only All-Star game played at Ebbets Field.
