Trio of proof tickets for the 1948 World Series games at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. The Indians won the Series in six games over the Boston Braves, the Cleveland club returning to the Series for the first time since their 1920 victory. The three phantom tickets are in approximately VG condition, with some light corner and edge wear, a few stray corner creases and some light surface wear. Tickets include games 3, 4, and 5 - it should be noted that Satchel Paige pitched two-thirds of an inning in this game, his only appearance in a major league postseason. Three tickets total.
