Attractive and colorful notebook cover image of Christy Mathewson, dating to 1910.  Designed to look similar to the artwork associated with the T3 Turkey Red cabinet cards of the era, these notebook covers were part of a series featuring a variety of ballplayers, their name printed in the lower-right corner.  This example does exhibit wear on the surface and edges, cut tightly to the left border, a likely reason for the AUTHENTIC grade assessed by SGC.  One of the key subjects in the series.
